Breathwork Workshop

Benita A. Esposito, MA, Facilitator
Far more powerful than talk therapy alone ... With breathwork, life-long behavioral patterns, and physical and emotional pain, often subside as your spirit and the Holy Spirit miraculously connect the dots between emotional wounding and physical symptoms.
The Holy Spirit works through me in the form of empathic intuition. With hands-on spiritual healing, stuck patterns loosen their grip so you experience easier changes. I facilitate this mind-body-spiritual healing workshop as an ordained minister. This is a spiritual healing format, not a psychotherapy format.
Just as we experience light when the sun rises in the morning, and darkness after the sun sets at night, we can also experience our emotional light and darkness as natural occurrences. When we judge and suppress our emotional experience, our relationship with our Authentic Self, with our body, with God, and with others becomes compromised.
Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools to connect with God, awaken spiritually and heal at depth. The Holy Spirit heals emotional wounds that have kept you stuck in limiting patterns. You can save yourself months and years of suffering by participating in this powerful emotionally cathartic workshop.
"I have done personal growth workshops, read tons of self-help books and studied spirituality for 12 years. But none of the things I have done in the past has helped me on all four levels (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) as much as the breathwork workshops." - K.P.
Benefits
The vast majority of participants rave about the results they experience. They learn how to lift the veil of limited perception, and they soar into the eagle’s view of expanded consciousness.
While cognitive psychotherapy has valuable benefits, it also has limitations. With breathwork, many people find it easier to heal, enrich their intimate relationships, express empathy, eliminate pain, and heal emotional wounds from the past. They love the wisdom and creative ideas that spontaneously flow to them from Holy Spirit. At the end of a breathwork session, participants celebrate with sweet exhilaration because they have found their way through the maze, and finally entered the doorway of enlightened consciousness, ending countless years of suffering.
"The breathwork workshop was a profound experience for me. I was so aware of feelings and my self for days after the workshop and felt lighter and freer than I may have ever felt. I felt open to my highest self and her to me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to that. A few days later I felt a little exposed and fearful so maybe that’s why I allowed work to overpower me, but I’m aware of all of those feelings, and gently reminding myself not to be afraid of my fear. I can admit my fear and be OK with it.
A by-product of all of this is how open I feel to my fiancé, and how enthused I am to bring hidden parts of myself forward with him. That feels so good, and it seems to make him feel safe to be open to me in return, so we’re in a very good place now." - H.P., systems analyst
What You’ll Learn
Breathwork is one of the most effective tools to uncover unconscious material that needs to be healed so you can access your Authentic Self. You’ll learn to feel your emotions in a responsible way, contain them, be transparent and vulnerable. You’ll learn to love and nurture your emotional body and your physical body to generate optimal health. As you develop a more loving relationship with your Authentic Self and with God, it will be reflected in a healthier body, in healthier relationships and in serendipitous circumstances in the world.
You’ll access information from your cellular memory where your emotional experience is stored. With my hands-on spiritual healing which is intuitively guided by the Holy Spirit, I help you feel safe enough to stay grounded in your body where you will transmute resistance and holding patterns. You will feel exactly what you need to feel to heal. You’ll open your ability to feel the whole range of emotions from joy to sorrow to ecstasy.
When you develop a flowing relationship with your emotions, you can experience an incredible freedom and peace, even in the midst of chaos. You learn how to stand in the peaceful eye of the hurricane. The winds can whip all around you, but you remain calm. You will have the opportunity to face your fears. Instead of shrinking back, you will find your way through the difficult maze, and flourish in the freedom of pure love. You’ll connect fully with your Authentic Self and God.
“What an experience! My husband and I both got a lot out of last night’s breathwork session. It hit me this morning as I was having my coffee, why my left side was hurting. About 20 years ago I lost our baby due to a tubular pregnancy. I guess I must have taken that harder than I realized. Maybe she was my little girl after having 4 boys - who knows? Again, Benita thank you for all you have done so far with us. I already feel different just in the short time our paths have crossed.” - C.S., healthcare administrator
Theoretical Paradigm
It is not fear, anger, or anguish that is the problem. Emotions are not our enemies and we do not have to get rid of them, release them, pray them away or fill them with light and happiness. We need to simply accept difficult emotions as part of our human experience and stay fully present in unconditional love. We connect with our Authentic Self there. We connect with God there. We are big enough to contain these emotional experiences and still identify with our Authentic Self.
"This experiential work has allowed me to access my own energetic blocks and has taught me to fully trust and support the unfolding process of psychosomatic healing. As my own energy has become more available to me, my massages have become more flowing, focused and effortless." - R.G-G., Certified Massage Therapist
How do we open to our most Authentic Self in Breathwork?
Most of this work is done without words, which means that we by-pass the limited perception of our conscious minds that keeps us in our old reality. Evocative music helps us access our raw primal nature as we make the authentic sound and movement of our emotions and physical sensations.
Our bodies fully engage as we breathe deep into the diaphragm and press into the places of tension. We feel where we have been numb, or where we were too scared or too ill-equipped to totally stay present. We allow the spiritual energy to flow through our wide-open bodies and transform us at depth.

Breathwork Testimonials
"My breathwork experience was wonderful!!! I had never experienced breathwork before and as you instructed us all to breathe deeper and deeper, and faster and faster, I kept breathing and breathing and nothing was happening except my stomach muscles were getting sore from breathing so hard and I began to think, ‘This is shear torture, why would anyone want to do this’? Then in an instant I was in an altered state and suddenly things about my life that had been very confusing and unclear before now were very clear and made perfect sense. In that state I was able to ask questions and receive answers. It was such a profound experience that a "river of tears" began to flow. Has the breathwork experience somehow magically changed my life so that I am now a completely different person? No, it has not. However, I don’t think we can ever have such a profound connection with spirit without being changed some way for the better. For one thing, I was unaware before the breathwork that I was holding anger towards myself for past mistakes early in my life. It seems that I was able to forgive everyone except me. Now I can do that and forgiveness is always strong medicine. Yes, I would gladly do breathwork again. Anything that helps us to understand ourselves better also helps to make our lives better. Our lives are only reflections of what we are inside. Through breathwork we can discover the things we are holding onto inside that need changing." - Tom M., Site Contractor and author
"The breathwork workshops helped me tremendously as well as the work with you individually. I now recognize when my body is sending me signals to pay attention to it. I am still learning to be still and put my hands on the pain and be okay (patient) with it. I have come to recognize my impatience and how hard I am on myself and that it is difficult for me to be still. However, I know that recognizing this is the first step to getting better. I’m going to keep on working on myself and just wanted you to know I am still using what I have learned from you." - J.J.
"Breathwork helps to break down the walls that we put up to protect ourselves. The armor could be from guilt, shame, anger, resentment, jealousy, any negative emotion that has affected us in our lifetime. What got me to my first workshop was that I knew something was wrong with me because I had shut down emotionally. I was afraid because I couldn’t really feel. I couldn’t cry or get excited about anything. I was emotionally numb, which is not like me at all. I was taking care of everyone else emotionally and physically and drained myself spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Breathwork has helped me love myself for who and where I am right now in my life and most of all, to forgive myself and to let go of any negative emotions I might have about myself or others. Breathwork is a way for me to take care of myself first so I can be totally present for others in my life." - K.P., Research Administrator
"Breathwork has made a significant impact on my ability to therapeutically work with massage clients. Instead of feeling so stressed by taking on the pain of my clients and trying to fix their problems, my body is more relaxed as I feel the true source of my self-worth. I am more grounded and solid in who I am and my role as a healer. I am so grateful for the change in my life." - R.V., Massage Therapist
"Even the least among you can do all that I have done, and greater things." ~Jesus
