Retreat: Activating Your Authentic Self

A Mountain Retreat  - March 2-14, 2010

Benita A. Esposito, MA. Facilitator

Does this sound like you? You are a smart woman or man, and you know that personal mastery empowers you to be successful in business, to create fulfilling relationships and to enhance your health. You are hungry for your next step of personal mastery. You are looking for a supportive group where you can feel safe to reveal who you really are without fear of judgment. You feel a yearning to shine from your most Authentic Self, and you want to stop self-defeating patterns. You know that it is most challenging to reveal your Authentic Self around other people, and you want expert coaching to do just that.

"My cheek muscles have been sore since I returned from the retreat. Could this be from smiling so much that it hurts? I have to say, when I left the retreat I had some good gut wrenching cries of loss …. and now.... wow, I do believe that joy is here. I am walking around singing, laughing, and just having fun with myself. I feel I want to spread some of this around." - M.F., Technical Trainer

Why attend?  Talk therapy has its place, but truly deep transformation occurs when the Holy Spirit and our spirit commune in sweet intimacy. In this retreat, we will step outside the limitations of our logic long enough to experience the vastness of divine wisdom and love. In this rarified environment, emotional wounds will heal and limiting perceptions will vanish in an instant.  We’ll set the stage for grace to flourish and spread to all our loved ones as we shine from our Authentic Selves.

"I just wanted to thank you again for hosting such a wonderful and inspirational weekend retreat. I continued to ride the wave all the way home! As I reflected on one of the weekend’s more intense moments I found myself crying tears of despair, but they were instantaneously transformed into tears of joy as I instinctively felt comfort from the Divine. Thanks to your guidance, I now know how to access the healing, the answers, the wisdom and the love." ~B.M., computer programmer

What is this retreat about?  We engage in the most effective experiential activities that foster activation of the Authentic Self in that specific moment so you get exactly what you need. I tune with my intuition and logic to discern what needs to be done to help participants expand beyond their current level of mastery.  The setting is intense and intimate. People who have demonstrate high degrees of personal responsibility and self-awareness come together to journey from good to great levels of personal mastery.

Where?  Young Harris, GA overlooking beautiful Lake Chatuge in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

When? Friday, March 12 - Sunday the 14th, 2010. Friday, 7pm – Sunday, 4pm

"I have never really even entertained the idea of doing a retreat. Scared me to death. This time I knew I would do it anyway. Once my spirit decided it was the place to be, then it was so powerful that I really had to surrender. So far it’s been one life changing experience after another. Right now I am flying. Can you tell? I mean high! I feel like running up this path barefooted if I have to. What an amazing, amazing life I have!" - V.S., Psychotherapist

What makes Benita’s leadership style unique?  Clients report how much they appreciate my ability to understand them at depth. Sometimes they do not have the words to express what they are feeling and thinking. When I put their thoughts and feelings into words, their confusion lifts. Their life makes more sense. They can see new options they never saw before. They feel seen, heard and loved. I hold sacred space for them to explore their inner landscape with the right blend of compassion and encouragement so they take effective action to achieve their dreams. I listen to their words, and I listen intuitively beyond their words.

Retreat participants who are most pleased with their results express their desires, take responsibility for the co-creation of the group, and stay focused on the overall agenda. Individual needs arise organically from the group based on personal experiences, not theoretical generalities. While there is a focus on a particular topic, the learning remains flexible to meet the needs of the participants. Short lectures and experiential activities ensure integrated learning.

"As we closed the retreat on Monday, I felt, probably for the first time in my life, a deep grief that I would be leaving a group of people, and a deep desire to continue to be a part of your lives, and have each of you be a part of mine. This is one of the gifts you have all given me this past weekend. My path in life has been a solitary one, and I mostly liked it that way, at the same time feeling lonely, isolated, and different. I never before realized how much I wanted to share myself with others, and to share their path and their experience." E.W., President, software development consulting

I coach people to show up in their Authentic Self in a group. They will apply that learning to building healthy families, workplaces and communities. When a group meets over time, self-judgment and conflicts arise. In the midst of the live-learning, they receive coaching to develop personal mastery and navigate relationships.
