What Makes Benita’s Retreats so Effective?
Retreats provide a deep-dive holistic experiential process instead of talking on a superficial level.
We address the following topics.
1. Self-awareness: Identifying thoughts, beliefs, interpretations (our stories) and how that generates emotional reactions, behavior patterns and physical sensations.
2. Body-mind-spirit healing: Transforming wounds from the past.
3. Relationships: communication and conflict management
4. Deepening spiritual intimacy and excavating the Authentic Self.

I tailor the retreat activities to the people who attend. Each person defines their goals 2-4 weeks before the retreat. During the retreat, each person comes forward in their self-chosen time and tells me what they want to work on. Then we co-create processes that will best accelerate their learning and growth. This is fluid process that evolves organically to meet the needs of each person so they experience the greatest results.
Retreats provide the best forum for transformation out of all the formats that I offer. I love the deep work. You should see people glow at the end! Participants get to learn vicariously as they watch others. That is very beneficial because they learn things they didn’t even know they needed to learn. There’s wonderful bonding in the group and people feel safe to open and explore. Healing occurs best in the context of relationships where people feel loved. That’s what we do in retreats. We’ll also do at least one breathwork session as a group. Retreats provide giant leaps forward. Please note: The results are best sustained by follow-up counseling or coaching.
