Media Room: Benita A. Esposito’s Bio

Credentials.  Benita A. Esposito, M.A., earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Illinois State University in 1976. Her bachelor’s degree is in psychology, sociology and speech communications. Ph.D. courses include community psychology and statistics from the organizational psychology program at Georgia State University. Benita has completed numerous post-graduate courses in adult education, out-patient psychotherapy, leadership, team-building, marketing, sales and entrepreneurial skills.

Career Experience. After launching her career as an out-patient psychotherapist with Catholic Social Services in Iowa, Benita transferred to Ozark Mental Health Center in Joplin, Missouri as a Community Services Professional. She designed, marketed and delivered adult education courses for the general public, facilitated community organization projects, and was responsible for marketing and public relations for a large non-profit mental health center.

Benita opened her private practice in Georgia in the mid-eighties, specializing in women’s issues. Topics include: Developing and sustaining a flourishing loving relationship, transforming relationship addiction and codependence, healing trauma, conscious creating, and self-actualization. Believing that one of the best ways we can uplift human consciousness is to coach business leaders to become even more self-aware, Benita works with high-achieving women via telephonic coaching and intensive weekend retreats.

Benita particularly enjoys working with women to help them create flourishing loving relationships, and she welcomes the awesome men who are attracted to S.M.A.R.T. women.
