Media Room: Benita A. Esposito’s Bio

Education.  Benita A. Esposito, M.A., earned a master’s degree in clinical psychology (1976) and a bachelor’s degree is in psychology/sociology/speech communications (1973) from Illinois State University. Fascinated in the untapped potential of human beings and body-mind-spirit healing, Benita’s master thesis researched methods of pain elimination without drugs, including biofeedback and meditation techniques. Ph.D. courses included community psychology and statistics from the Community/Organizational Psychology program at Georgia State University. Benita has completed numerous post-graduate courses in adult education methods, counseling, leadership, team-building, marketing, sales and entrepreneurial skills.

Career Experience. Benita A. Esposito, M.A. is a former psychotherapist who currently practices as an educator, life, health and relationship coach. After launching her career as an out-patient psychotherapist with Catholic Social Services in Iowa, Benita transferred to Ozark Mental Health Center in Joplin, Missouri as a Community Services Professional. She designed, marketed and delivered adult education courses for the general public, facilitated community organization projects, and was responsible for marketing and public relations for a large non-profit mental health center. Benita opened her own business in Georgia in the mid-eighties, specializing in coaching, educating and counseling women to reach their full potential.

Coaching topics include: Developing and sustaining flourishing relationships (for singles and couples), consciously creating the life of your dreams, mind-body-spirit transformation, spiritual intimacy, and self-actualization. Benita believes that one of the best ways we can uplift human consciousness is to coach successful business leaders to become even more self-aware. Benita coaches high-achieving women (and the men who love them) via in-person meetings in North Georgia and telephonic sessions nationwide, as well as workshops and intensive weekend retreats.
